A room thermostat in the heater controls the temperature of the heated room. When the set temperature is reached, the heating coil of the heater is turned off and the fan continues to run and circulate the air. When the temperature drops, the heating is restarted. The knob on the room thermostat of the air heater works between the end positions, it cannot be turned!
