General Description

SDS Plus drill bits with 2 cutters and a double flute are designed for the professional user and meet high quality standards. Hitachi introduces a recent innovation with a newly developed drill bit that sets a new standard in performance.

Tested under extreme conditions, these drill bits have demonstrated their quality through efficiency and performance. The 2-cutter construction is based on a central carbide tip, designed to offer multiple drilling advantages.

The cross-section centering tip ensures fast and concentric drilling. The three "power breakers" increase impact efficiency by transferring energy to four contact points, simultaneously generating micro-fissures and contributing to a significantly higher drilling speed.

After breaking the concrete, dust and debris are efficiently evacuated thanks to the vario flutes in the front, with a narrow conical shoulder, which increase transport capacity and reduce friction with the hole walls. The more robust and rigid rear section improves energy transfer for faster drilling, reduces the risk of breakage, and, together with the special helix, diminishes vibrations during operation.
