Overview

SDS Plus drill bits with 2 cutters and a double helix are manufactured for the professional end-user and adhere to high quality standards. Hitachi introduces a recent innovation with a newly developed drill bit that sets a new standard for performance.

The cross-section centering tip aids in fast and concentric drilling. On the carbide tip, in addition to the centering tip, three "power breakers" are integrated, which transfer impact energy to four contact points, simultaneously generating micro-fractures and contributing to significantly higher drilling speed.

Dust and debris evacuation is optimized by the vario flutes in the front part, with a narrow conical shoulder, which increase transport capacity, reduce friction, and prevent speed decrease due to clogging. The back part is more robust and rigid, with wider flute shoulders, for improved energy transfer and reduced risk of breakage, and the special helix minimizes vibrations during drilling.
