General description

OCTAPEEL is a water-based component, produced from a 100% recycled polymer emulsion and recyclable at the end of its life cycle. After application, it forms a durable, transparent, and elastic layer that is easy to remove from the surface once it has dried.

The OCTAPEEL protective layer is resistant to almost all types of pollution, including paint, markers, graffiti, or debris, helping to keep surfaces clean during work.

The product was specially developed for window protection, especially on construction sites, during fitting-out work. It can also be used as a temporary protective layer for spray booths.

OCTAPEEL can be used on all porous or non-porous surfaces, such as glass, plastic, window frames, facades, etc. It was developed as a temporary protective layer for spray booths or windows on construction sites.

How to use the product

Use masking tape to protect sensitive areas or areas that should not be covered (ventilation system, guide rails, sun protection, etc.).
Apply OCTAPEEL in a minimum of two coats, using STARTOOLS S-PT395, S-PT495, S-PT595, S-795 pumps or the Wagner FinishControl 3500 Airless Sprayer (XVLP/HVLP technology). Apply the second coat transversely over the first and observe the minimum consumption of 0.2 – 0.6 kg/m². A thin coat can result in a hard-to-remove covering.
Once the OCTAPEEL film has served its purpose, remove it easily, in one piece, by pulling it firmly from the covered surface.

Practical information

Do not dilute or mix with other products.
Do not apply in rainy conditions or if rain or frost is expected within 12 hours of application.
On porous surfaces, it may adhere better than on smooth, hard surfaces; apply a very thick coat on porous surfaces (> 0.6 kg/m²) or apply a second coat.
Airless spray application with flat nozzles type 517 – 519 (0.015 – 0.019 inch).
After use, clean equipment with an alkaline solution.
Do not apply to untreated wood or very absorbent masonry.
Upon long-term contact with water, the film may turn white and opaque, without affecting the product's performance or coverage.
Stir before use.
