General Description

OCTAPEEL is a water-based component made from a 100% recycled polymer emulsion that is recyclable at the end of its use cycle. After application, it forms a durable, transparent, and elastic layer that is easily removed from the surface once dry.

The product is designed to protect surfaces against almost all types of pollution, including paint, markers, graffiti, or debris. It is a practical solution when you want to keep surfaces clean during work.

OCTAPEEL was specially developed for window protection, especially on construction sites, during renovation works. However, it can also be used as a temporary protective layer for spray booths or in many other similar applications.

OCTAPEEL can be used on multiple types of porous or non-porous surfaces, such as glass, plastic, window frames, facades, etc. The uses are practically limitless in the context of temporary surface protection.

How to use the product

Use masking tape to protect areas that should not be covered (e.g., ventilation system, guide rails, sun protection, etc.).
Apply OCTAPEEL in a minimum of two coats, using PAZ 20X / PAZ 24X / PAZ 28X / PAZ 32X pumps or the Wagner FinishControl 3500 Airless Sprayer (XVLP/HVLP technology). Apply the second coat crosswise over the first and adhere to the minimum consumption of 0.2 – 0.6 kg/m². A too-thin layer can result in a hard-to-remove coating.
Once the OCTAPEEL film has served its purpose, remove it easily in one piece by firmly pulling it off the covered surface.

Practical information

Do not dilute or mix with other products.
Do not apply in rainy conditions or if rain or frost is expected within 12 hours of application.
On porous surfaces, it may adhere better than on smooth and hard surfaces; apply a very thick layer on porous surfaces (> 0.6 kg/m²) or apply a second coat.
Airless spray application with flat nozzles type 517 – 519 (0.015 – 0.019 inch).
After use, clean equipment with an alkaline solution.
Do not apply to untreated wood or highly absorbent masonry.
Upon long-term contact with water, the film may become white and opaque, without affecting the product's performance or coverage.
Stir before use.
