  • Description


Fiac AB425/525 is a professional pump with two pistons, two compression stages driven by a trapezoidal belt.

  • The pump is delivered with a pulley (345mm x 1SPZ) mounted. The pump has an improved efficiency, a robust construction.

  • The large diameter of the pulley helps in a more efficient cooling of the compressor head, a fact that leads to a 76% improved efficiency and prolongs its life.

  • The oil sump and cylinder head are made of aluminum, the cylinders are made of cast iron with cooling fins.

  • The pump pistons are made of INOX, and are equipped with 3 segments. Lubrication is done with oil (the pump is delivered with synthetic oil in the bathroom).

  • The valve plate is made of cast iron, with INOX valves.

  • The AB425/525 pump is equipped with an intermediate cooler, which leads to a decrease in the pump's operating temperature and improves efficiency, increasing the pump's service life and reliability.

  • It is delivered loaded with synthetic oil in the oil pan.


Depending on the power of the electric motor that drives it, this pump can work at different speeds and achieve different air flows, as explained below:

  • When driven by a 4HP engine and at a speed of 1280rpm, the pump is called AB425

  • When driven by a 5.5HP engine and at a speed of 1440rpm, the pump is named AB525
